Its a Relay control module, has the fuel pump, fan, ignition ect relays in it. Your car will not run with out it.
Try a search on it its been talked about quite a bit.

ok, so from what i've read after searching for ccrm it controls the fans, a/c, and fuel pump (i couldn't find anything about ignition could u be a lil more specific about that?)
so heres the thing, the motor is for a custom swap. i already have a fuel pump relay in place as well as the proper sensor/sending units for coolant temp and fan control. one of the posts stated that it sends codes to the ecu. im not as worried about it flashing codes that are meaningless (due to certain things not being run by this particular ecu) as i am the engine being disabled by one of these codes. are there any signals i should make sure are either present or simulated to make the engine run in the new car (non-taurus family)

Go to the Electronics and Audio forum, then to the post near the top for electrical diagrams.

Download the correct diagrams for the year of car your parts are from.

There are adequate drawings contained therein including the CCRM/IRCM. The IRCM/CCRM does not send any codes to the PCM. It does, however, supply master power to the PCM which you will have to account for.

sweet, one more peice of info should hold me for awhile, just a double check really...
the wiring diagrams dont show a "ccrm" or an "ircm" however they do show a "icm" which appears to contain the fuelpump relays. is this it? i believe it to be but i just want verification thumb
