Hi guys, I'm new to SHO ownership... so I have a question. I was poking around today in my engine compartment, and I found a disconnected plug. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what it is.

I have a 1995 ATX. The picture is on the drivers side just above the break reservoir. Thanks!!

as I recall, there are a couple connectors that look like that. one fits on the steering rack, if I recall right, and one fits on the master cylinder as part of the cruise control. and there is at least one connector in that area that has nothing plugged into it, I just don't recall exactly what it looks like.

does the cruise work? has your car had the cruise recall done? does the power steering boost drop as you go faster, or is it always high boost?

I do not know about the recall, I just bought the car over the past weekend. Are there any tell-tale signs on the recall, such as an extra harness or fuse?

My cruise does work, but the power steering boost I will have to pay attention to on the way to work tomorrow.

:thankyou:

Yea, there will be a fused jumper pigtail wrapped in electrical tape, kinda like this one on a Ford truck, if the recall was performed:

Welcome to the forum BTW and congrats on the new purchase!
