I may sell my 1996 SHO and was wondering what folks thought was a fair asking price. Details of car below.

1996 SHO 72K Miles, Ebony Black
Chrome wheels, tan leather, JBL, CD, no dings, slight paint checking on hood. New brakes, AC compressor, front SARC struts. For the most part, very clean, kept in garage in Florida.

You can try Edmunds.com

They seem to have a relatively good handle on fair pricing. Just answer a few questions and the sit e will give you a price estimate. Might not be what you want to see but it will probably be a very accurate ballpark for what you will get.

Thanks

$5k trade-in, $6400 private, dealer retail $8300.

I was hoping to get 7K, so I may not be that far off.

Geesh. Good luck. I traded in my '97 SHO with 82k miles on it. Got a whopping $4400 for it. Had it For Sale for over a year, and no one wanted it for $6k.

I bought my 97 with 72k from a private seller for $5000. Some times I feel like he got ripped off, but thats what he wanted for it. Made me happy :D

Thanks all, maybe I'll shoot a bit lower. Bought a boat for the family. Another hole to sink money in. Hopefully Larson treats customers better than Ford.

Geeez, I got my '97 off of EBay for 7,500 dollars and thought that was cheap considering others were selling for higher and the retail was 10,500 at the time. ****, I don't care anyway, I am pleased with this car and don't plan on selling it any time soon, by the time that I do decide to sell or trade, I will have well gotten my money out of the car in the sheer-all-out-fun department. Happy Selling! :p

The used car market sucks ass for sellers. Blue book values are seemingly irrelevant.... thanks 0% APR....

Used SHOs are going for that cheap? Wow, I was thinking about getting a 96-98 SHO, but didn't know they were that cheap...I saw a 99 for sale that was going for $11,000 and assumed they were all up there. That SHO must have been garage kept all of its life.
