What do YOU call it? A SHO or an S. H. O. ??

I call it an S.H.O. Ess 8ch Ohh.

It makes me f*&%#$g crazy when I hear people call it a SHOW!

Let's hear it. What's your preference? If you give the wrong answer I'll never talk to you again.

More often than not, I refer to it as S.H.O.

Admittedly though, there are occassions where I've let a simple SHO (or show) slip out.

Always referred to as S.H.O..... however, now that my 13 year old son is gaining interest in the car game, I allow him to say, "Are you going to SHO them dad??" when he feels the need to pass the car in front of us.

It used to be spelled out S.H.O. and I pronounced it as such "Ess Aech Oh". But Ford has gone the way of teenager text speak, and lumped it into a single word SHO, and pronounces it as such "Show".

FWIW, I call mine a Taurus. LOL.

I call mine a Taurus, too. But if I talk about the variant, I say S. H. O. I read somewhere that Ford didn't want to use those letters because they didn't want people to call it a "show".

I've been known to say both actually... I have always thought it was an S-H-O, which is kinda confirmed by all the posts here. But for anyone who I am talking to that has no idea what a Taurus from an Accord from a Charger is... I will just say SHO (like Show). Followed by "It's a performance version of a Taurus".

I call mine a Taurus, as well, until I'm asked which variant. Most folks don't know there are different models.

And Angela, you're the only one that calls it a SHO that I'm still going to talk to.

The reason I asked the question in the first place is that I had just finished watching a video of a guy doing a test drive and he kept saying SHO this and SHO that fifty-odd times and I got really aggravated for no apparent reason and shut it off.

So there ya go. We're in the majority, then.

Ford certainly pushed it as the S.H.O. for many years, but as stated before, has now officially gone the the SHO (show) variant.
