SHOOFF
I was driving my car home from work when as soon as I got onto the highway the clutch pedal gave out and hit the floor. On the floor I saw a piece of the clutch cable and then when I noticed this I pushed the car back into the parking lot of my work and left it there. Since then I have fixed the clutch cable and noticed that 2 60amp ignition fuses were blown so I replaced those and the car started right up. The only thing is when I let the clutch in and try to go into any of the gears it won't let me when the car is turned on, but when the car is off I can go thru gear to gear still. Anybody know what this problem could be? I heard that it could be the tensioner on the clutch pedal that needs some adjustment so that is why the clutch pedal isn't catching with the transmission. I'm confused and this is my 3rd week with the mtx the car is a 1992. Also when the car turns on with the power and the motor running the cars heat comes on and doesn't shut off even when the eatc says the heat is off. These are 2 new and weird problems to me. Any help input would help greatly I need to get this problem solved as soon as I possibly can. Thanks.
