the only way i can explain it is this..

Try to say the word "whoa" like you are shocked.... whoa..

But whisper it.. and try to whisper it in a deep voice.... over and over again..

"whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa"... it reminded me of when my rotor was warped on my GTP... but different pitch.

now that we got that out of the way....

it doesnt seem to be coming from the engine bay... it doesnt seem to be coming from the rear of the car...

I feels like you are at your computer with headphones on... its from ALL around... but not even that loud. I notice it when i start to slow down to a stop.

Everything feels fine.. all the gauges look alright... although before this started happening... 5 min before hand my Oil light came on.. i checked my oil and it was just above "Add 1 quart" so im gonna still rule that out...

i have 86k on the car.. sooo i dont know..

check your tires as david said....look for cupping or uneven wear. sounds like what happens to the Blazers with Wrangler Tires on them.

I would also look at the wheel bearings. See if there is any left to right wiggle in the wheels when jacked up off the ground.

so youre hearing someone whisper whoa.... did you buy that crack that prophet was selling?...

but seriously... it does sound kinda like a wheel bearing is it constant or sparatic? if its constant, does it increase in frequency when you go faster... or when rpms go higher? and is it always doing this now?

This is gonna sound strange and off the wall, but do you have a sunroof? And was it open? Sunroofs can sometimes cause wind buffetting in deceleration, where the pressure outside the car is greater than the pressure inside. Therefore in an attempt to equalize, it makes the exact same sounds you are talking about.

it ONLY happens when i start to slow down to a STOP.. no where else.. its like the last 10-0mph.... if it starts.. i quickly hit the gas and come up to speed.... it doesnt happen.. but if i am stopping for a RED LIGHT or something.. it will happen now... every time... its really loud in the cabin... starting to sound like its from the rear... Def.. tire/wheel related...
