weird issue

well im scratching my head over this one. ok , before im forced to crawl under the car , i hope this might be a common prob? here is the prob , i noticed today my floor is soaking wet. right by the pedals. it did ran a lil bit , however i dont see where any water could have leaked in , only getting the floor wet? its only on the drivers side. i first thought it may be the heater core leaking (been there with another) but my coolant was full , and this looks like 100% water. im stumped , the water was sitting on the floor , before i drove anywhere. a rough guess, about a half gallon of water on the floor board. any ideas out there?

you might have a seal that is leaking on your windshield. Had that happen to me on another vehicle.

also, check around the weatherstripping on the door for any kinks, cracks or deformities. Mine leaks towards the top of the door from the previous owner having a bike rack on the car and compressing the weatherstripping.

Check where the steering coupler shaft passes through the firewall. There is a rubber boot that should be bolted in place.
