Weather stripping?

Where and how much for new weather stripping for a gen two?

I'm getting too much noise at highway speeds would like to quiet things down a bit making the ride more enjoyable.

Ive checked Jcwitney catalog, anyone have a part number i could use?

I have replaced the weatherstripping in three Taurus' so far. Up here in the great green north, most of the parts cars still have soft intact weatherstripping, so it is pretty easy to find. A trip to the parts car or junkyard gets very cheap factory weatherstripping.

Also, Chris Casselton from the SF area had a bunch of good weatherstripping at the convention to sell. You could try her. [email protected]

If that doesn't work and you want some authentic NW weatherstripping, let me know and I willl get you some.

That JCWhitney stuff is only OK at best. I have a JCWhitney trunk seal and it seals the trunk but it does not fit the corners very well and you have to slam the trunk to get it to shut (the new seal has been on for over a year), whereas I did not have to before I changed it.
