Prolly a very dumb question but, how hard are they to take off? I would also like to paint mine, and are they easy to put back on?
are you talkin about the whole manifold or the snakes?
if you mean the manifold there about 10 or so bolts in and around the snakes if you mean the actual snaked however, youll still have to take off the manifold...i taped off everything neccessary so i wouldnt have to remove the snakes, because theres a gasket between them and the tube and i didnt want to risk having to replace it

thx for the compliments, leddzepp, i think i saw your in another thread, and they look really good

did you just take the snakes off?
i took the whole manifold off, there are bolts for the snakes that would be impossible to access if you didnt take off the whole manifold, but yes i didnt take my snakes off,i just taped up everything that wasnt to be painted, just a little bit of patience and it turned out alright

Because I'm sure you were the first one to do that color combo. :finger:

It doesn't look too bad I guess. Not knocking your work, but can I ask why you didn't just go ahead and take it completely apart and paint it? I mean I understand about the gaskets, but....It's really not that much more effort.

Yeah, right now I'm in the process of grounding down all the casting lines on my extra intake, and prepping for paint. I've got a little while though, since it's getting extrude honed and BBBs. :naughty:
