I already do enough of nefarious shit. However Dumbfuckistan (Kommiefornia) is nothing I want to be part of. Great to visit for the beach at Coronado Island, but I will pass on residing there again. I did my time.

I may be moving to California, and they have come up with a unique way of doing a smog check. They test the computer to see if it has been modified. It doesn't matter if it passes smog, if the computer has been modified it's a fail and they send you to a smog referee. has anyone figured out a work around? I was thinking of a piggy back system but I would like the top speed limiter removed and a piggy back won't do this. Is there any hope for my SHO?

you can just put a 93 tune and 3 bar map on it and then change it back to stock a few weeks before. This is all really easy and will only take 10 minutes or less. with the stock tune in they can see the pcm but will not be able to see it was tuned.

Unfortunately a lot of tuners won't even send tunes to California anymore. SCT and HPTuners will void warranty work if they find out the handheld was used in California as well. It seems to be the first thing they ask you when you call in is "where are you located?" and "do you have exhaust modifications?"
