Lately my car has been getting much harder to start. It cranks for awhile, the engine sits around 400 RPMs, but then eventually it catches. Battery is new, so it shouldn't be that, but maybe the starter? Car's got a little over 120k, no 60k yet though. Once the car is running it is fine, and all the power is there.

Try cycling the key on (without cranking), wait 3 seconds, turn off. Repeat 2-3 times. Then try starting.

If it fires right away after that procedure reliably, you have a fuel delivery problem (inadequate fuel pressure, probably). Maybe a fuel pump, filter, fuel pressure regulator, etc.

Checked the fuel delivery and that is not the problem. Also, idle is fine and it doesn't surge. Still not starting - Any other ideas????
