Vehicle unsupported

Hi I just purchased a x4 tuner with the power pack. Installed the parts and went to program my car but an error comes up saying that my vehicle is unsupported. 16’ sho pp. tuner purchased from gear head. Car is unmarried and tuner has been updated. Any help is appreciated thanks

Ok, I thought the tuner came with the ao tune already.

Ok, I thought the tuner came with the ao tune already.

It does not, they need the serial number of the device, your car's strategy # and possibly the VIN to create the tune for you, then they will email you the tune to load on the device and then on the car.

Go to the tune form to see what all information you need, then plug the device into your vehicle. I believe the strategy # and VIN is shown under Vehicle information. The serial number for the device is under device info, and is also printed on the back of the device.

You will still see this unsupported statement, but below that, you should see the GH TUNE. Once of course your programmer is programmed.
