That bronze fire is almost like the ‘60’s Ford color emberglow. Always liked that one too.

I’ve always been concerned it will date the car. Like how everyone had a silver 2000’s Grand Prix. Or shag carpet

I like my bronze fire (16) SHO a lot. Glad I ordered that color. Get som compliments on it too.

When people ask what color it is, I tell them bronze fire. I've had it described as red, brown and orange. And I can see them all as being corect.

My prior 2011 SHO PP was Tuxedo Black and, as others have mentioned, it definitely had colorful metallic that was obvious if there was just about any ambient light. I had heard at my local automotive paint store though that the plant where the metallic was manufactured was destroyed by the tsunami in 2012(?) and therefore they were actually rationing the metallic because it was not going to be available again. I could purchase up to a pint of the basecoat, but any quantity larger than that was only available to body shops.

So I don't know if that plant ever came back online or if the formula had to change. Actually, I guess I don't even know how much truth there was to what the guy behind the counter told me, but since I was a repeat customer and I wasn't trying to buy a large quantity of the paint (I was actually getting paint for a different vehicle, they just happened to notice the color of my car when I pulled in) they really had no reason to feed me a line....

Deep impact blue is awesome too. I don’t recall ever seeing one in the wild though. When we were picking out our first ‘16 there was a deep impact ‘15 on the showroom floor and I wanted it. But the ‘16 had like $10k in incentives and the ‘15 did not so we ended up with white. Pretty crazy considering we were almost at the ‘17 model year and Ford has no interest in moving the ‘15 for some reason

Fell in love with Ford Magnetic Metallic when it came out. I haven't seen another one in the wild. I see plenty of gray ones in different shades that aint shos. Also seen a different gray sho with the 19 inch rims.
Be careful though. Ford started offering sho rims, spoiler and other appearance package stuff on non shos. I seen a sho black mesh and chrome grill on a non sho with 19 inch rims and chrome side vent and single exhaust with spoiler but they could of just bought the grill i guess to look like a sho.
I live across from a Ford dealer. Plenty over there that look like shos but aint.

I would like to think I'm pretty familiar with Ford paint colors, but Crystal Black Pearl does not ring a bell.

Cool thing about my '12 MKS and the EcoBoost Appearance Package. 2010-2011 were all Tuxedo black. 2012 was black only, but the spoiler was tuxedo black (and the wheels are polished instead of chrome).

My VIN states my color is Tux black and it is a high metallic black. No greens or blues in it.
