My car is an 89 with 77K miles. Anyway, yesterday I was doing a lot of running around town, in and out of the car. After one stop, I got in and the car would turn over but would not start. After about 10 minutes, I got it started, but it died on the road about half a mile away. Again, got it started after about 10 minutes, but it quickly died down the road.
So I left the car at a gas station for a few hours. When I came back several hours later, the car started right up and I drove it home with no trouble. Do these cars vapor lock or anything like that? It does not overheat at all, and the weather is cold here, so I'm not really sure.
One other thing....I only get about 19 mpg on the freeway! The plugs have been changed, so should I try O2 sensors next??
Thanks for any advice,
Phil
