1000 miles since oil change; FL1A filter; 3.2 ATX; 10-30 valvoline
At start up I have noticed an initial "tickity" noise from the valvetrain for about a second, then it disappears. The engine runs great, uses no oil or any other fluid, and has 100k. I have not had a chance to do the 100K, but its scheduled for next month. Outside temps run about 70-80 degrees F. here in the summer.
Is the noise an indicator of something really harmful right now?
