It looks like I might be able to buy a 55 shim set off someone with the following sizes:

2400 1
2425 3
2450 5
2475 7
2500 8
2525 6
2550 10
2575 9
2600 1
2625 3
2650 2

I'd like to know if these would be enough to cover me. The only sizes I'm not sure about are the 2600s the and 2625s. The set that SHO NUT Performance rents includes quite alot, while this set only has a few. Would a SHO with 130k (yes, I'm late on the 60k...) need shims that large?

Thanks for any info you can give...

Unfortunatly, the only way you're gonna know is to pop open your engine and find out what's in there. Every one is different.

That is a pretty good set to start with and will likely cover most if not all of the sizes you may need. There may be a few of the larger sizes (2.650+) that you may need, but you can get them special if needed. You will also have a number of other shims that you pull out of your engine to work with. There are two sides to a shim.
