My 1993 ATX has a continuous whine that I have diagnosed as a vacuum leak. However, pinpointing it is merely asphyxiating me while I search in and around the running engine. I seem to recall a method of spraying penetrating oil around certain areas and/or hoses that would help point to the leaking culprit. This is freaking me out, as I cannot find it, and I am getting about 3 gallons to the mile, rather than miles per gallon. ANY help will be greatly appreciated. I just put new wires and plugs along with a clutch for the A/C and Blizzaks for the anticipated trips to the Great White North. My car is ready to go, except for that damnable leak. HELP?
