I know back in the day lots of us put the 3.2 motor in our manual car with the 3.0 cams.

Did anyone ever try installing the V6 yamaha motor?

Would it fit in a GEN 3 car ??

Just curious

Physically fit? I'm sure. There are plenty of people who put the GenIII subframe in their Gen I/II. You would have to rewire most of it I bet.

If you can put one in a Tempo the gen 3 should be a cinch. I know this has been done. probably got a picture somewhere of it.

IIRC, the intake height is the problem, hence that odd intake on the SHO V8. Possibly with some type of cowl hood?

FWIW, what I liked better was the Fwd 4.6 swap from a Continental. There were at least a couple of those out there. And much better parts availability!
