Mr. Resourceful
I was exploring around in Binary Editor the other day and I found an option to change how the ECU determines the load on the engine. You could choose between LOAD, LOAD/PEAK LOAD, and TPS. Default it was set to LOAD, from what I could find, LOAD is the instantaneous volumetric efficiency of the engine, this would mean that the throttle would indirectly calculate load, as the more open it was the higher the volumetric efficiency.

Being curious as I am I decided to change it to TPS and see what happened. This would mean that depending on how open the throttle was would determine what AFR and Spark the ECU would use, rather than relying on the actual engine load. The car is much snappier in throttle response now, which I assume is due to the ECU switching to more aggressive spark and AFR faster than with the other method. The only draw back I see to this is if the engine is under high load , such as slowly climbing a hill, and the throttle is closed it may run a little lean but I have yet to experience any issues. It's quite a bit faster cruising around town, so as long as my engine doesn't melt it's a pretty awesome little mod :woo-hoo:
