URGENT!!! Need Price On Rebuilt Tranny!

Well, I think I finally blew the damn thing up. I nailed 2nd and all it did was free-rev and make a HORRIBLE grinding noise. Now, it might not be the trans, but I am getting ready for the worst. Anybody know how much one will be?

Find a good used one, should be less than $500. If you're really keen on a "rebuild", send it to Beth and you should still come out at under $1000. You could try sending her yours first to see if it can be saved.

i got the same sound when my tob went out on my way home when i bought my sho, good time, no clutch and about 10 miles to go, woo, made it though and my trans is sitting in a bucket waiting till tomarow, im buying a new fork thing that releases the clutch, and were hopefully getting her back together and on the road

The ATX (automatic) tranny that you have, and the MTX (manual) tranny that SHO_ROLLER has, are two completely different animals.

WOW! I think I just got REAL lucky! My mechanic said I blew a CV axle! This is GREAT!! There is still a SLIGHT chance there was more damage, but only a slight one.
