Okay then!! where do i register or contact to get in on the fun? I,m a lucky man for fact is i lived less than 5 mins. from world HQ and still have friends in the area that i can stay with when im in town. Can,t wait to meet most of you clowns n have some fun , n since i was from there i know where all the fun stuff is! Bring guns n ammo n we can go urban spelunking in the old factories !

If you can swing staying in the host hotel, do that. After a night of parking lot fun, you don't wanna drive anywhere!

OTOH, I have one other guy in my room, and have room for one more either on the floor or a rollaway. The room is only for occasional shit/shower/sleep. PM me if interested.

And sometimes you still need Randy to help you to your room.

And as for the room, since I was the one to be able to help secure the hotel, I had a nice room with a Jacuzzi tub. I love Jacuzzi tubs. I never used it...

Yep. I bring my laptop, and I'm lucky if I ever fire it up. And I don't read the stuff in the Convention envelope until after the Convention. You just don't spend time in the room except for the three "S's" I mentioned above

I got my reg in, considering I live and work in Dearborn, I have no excuse. I have not heard a response yet just to confirm my reg and I sent it over a month ago. :braincramp:

I'm just hoping to get my '95 out of storage in Buffalo and getting its issues fixed so it can make the trek back to Dearborn. Otherwise I'll just have to bring my rust bucket '94.

I mailed my registration back in January and haven't received any sort of confirmation.
Don sends out confirmations in a batch, and usually some time right after the first of June. Same thing with charging credit cards or cashing checks, so I would expect to see something in the next week or so. If not, I'm sure a quick email to Don or Ken will confirm your registration.

I'm just getting around to filling out my form tonight. I'm sure Jan will find a way to "reward" me for my "timeliness"!

I have a question. I'm looking at the registration form and it looks like you can pay by credit card, which is good. My question is regarding the Henry Ford Museum tour. I had thought about doing that on Wed. (track day) since I don't have a car to take to the road course. Do I have to get my own tickets if I decide to go Wed. instead of Thurs. or can I still buy them through the convention registration? We may leave Thursday.

Greenfield Village/Henry Ford tickets are good any day, I they are good for a year (SEE NOTE BELOW). We just set aside Thursday to give everyone time to do some of their own thing, and recommend the Village, Henry Ford Museum and/or the plant tour as a great thing to do. If you have never been to any of these, all three are worth doing. Your ticket is good for the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village, you can buy the plant tour in advance or at the time, but the plant tour has limited space, so you should get those tickets in advance.

I am working my way through the registrations, making deposits and e-mailing confirmations. we have never done e-mail confirmation in place of a mailing, but are doing it this year. After 10 years of doing it one way, this is a bit of a shock to my system. But I will work through it. Everyone should get their confirmation by the end of the weekend.

Confirming the Greenfield Village/Henry Ford Museum tickets.

We are providing vouchers from the hotel at a discount. Take these to the Greenfield Village/Henry Ford and you will get a ticket good for THOSE TWO events. (Why only two of the three? Because the plant tour has limited availability, they recommend you get advance ticket reservations for a specific time on-line or in person in advance or take your chances, they don't sell a ticket for all three).

The VOUCHER is good till the end of 2010.

Once you get the actual ticket, you can use all or part of it over the next year. So, say you go to the Henry Ford during the convention, but that is all, then over the next year you can go back and do the other event.

If you send in a registration form and indicate payment at the event, I will hold one. But we have already printed all our shirts. Although we have plenty at this time, those that pay first (or send in a form and promise with a pinky swear to follow through!), get their shirts first. When we run out, that is it. Same with hats. We have placed our order based on pre-registrations. When we run out we run out.
