Really very sad guys.

I used three screws to tighten it up nice, and the car started and was able to drive around. However with only three it had come somewhat loose and yes the car once again became and eye sore.

Anyways, as i went to tighten the three again another screw broke!!!! Grrr....

Give me a break it is -30 Celius here in canada.

So as long as someone is pushing on the module to keep it snug against the intake cross over then the car will run just fine.

I know what your thinking, why not get new screws.

Did that, however the two screws that broke off are still in the holes!!! I can't drill them out as it is -30 and the drill bit breaks!!!

Very ****** right now, thinking I may have to take the cross over right off and bring it inside to drill out the screws.... Any other idea's would be greatly apreated as always.

Make a jumper wire from 12-14 ga wire. Put a ring terminal on one end that will go under the bolt on the intake maniflod. Put a smaller diameter ring terminal on the other end and secure it to the DIS (pick one of the holes that are supposed to be grounded) using a bolt, nut, and a star washer.

That will be your temporary ground.

Why don't you take off the cross over tube take it inside or take it to a shop and then work on it? It will only take like 2 minutes to remove.

Use two long zip ties to hold it snugly to the crossover until it warms up up there. :)

Otherwise, taking the crossover tube off to bring it into drill it is easy, and will save frosty fingers.

Wheeee :-/

Yeah, I was working w/ him on the DIS. We ended up trying to get a couple small heavy-duty spring clamps to hold it tight, which it did, yet didn't help start the car, so after a few more minutes of freezing we decided to take the crossover off and work on it indoors, which certainly did help out muchly. One of the bolts -eventually- came out after it snapped one of my titanium drill bits and devoured the second one. Seriously! It was really funny, b/c if anyone is familiar with a Canadian toonie, that's what it looked like, with the drill bit -inside- the bolt. Stupid bolt ... anyways, that eventually came out and we used vice-grips to take off the other broken bolt, reattached everything finally and the car -FINALLY- started.

One problem ...

Later we tried to start the car to ensure everything was all good, no dice. It was tried again this morning, and it worked, turned off the car a while later, started up again no problem, and just recently it didn't, but then tried again immediately after it started.

We've come upon the conclusion that the crank position sensor is now fused (after seeing a nice spark under the hood when trying to start it the very first time), therefore now giving an approximate 1-in-3 chance of starting the car. Any feedback about it possibly being anything else would be greatly appreciated :) Thanx all!

Those sound more like the symptoms of a bad CID, Camshaft Position sensor.

Does the car ever stall while running?

Took another peek under the hood, looking to see if there is actually something -less- complicated that could be the issue. Taking the advice from my partner in crime, I took a gander at the wiring harness to see if there were any frayed wires or anything. He said last night when we were taking off the crossover he noticed some tape on a wire and such, and since it was nice and dark out, we couldn't tell. I checked today, and on the wiring harness for the DIS on the "right hand side" (if you were looking from the passenger side of the car to the driver side), there's some wire taped up, about 6 inches worth. Geez, it's not even electrical tape. It's not even duct tape! I guess the battle plan is to let it warm up a bit since it's an outside job (taking off the crossover, remove the tape, retape, etc.). Feedback/suggestions to this possibly being a lead to the end of the troubles of this poor, poor SHO?
