I got a 1996 SHO that has a strange problem.

During cold temperatures(below 35 degrees), when I unlock the door car attempts to start. It will not stop trying until I lock the doors. Sometimes, alarm blows also. Most of the time, it tries to start. We did notice that, when we tried to lock and unlock the door from inside car, it will lock and unlock without car trying to start every once in a while, until engine warms up.

My guess is something is shorting when its cold, possibly ignition box.

Any ideas?

Was a remote start installed in your car that you know of ??

If you have no idea, take it to a install shop in your area and have them check it out. If so ... it might be bad and needs to be removed. You wouldn't imagine how many wires it takes to install one of those.
