My unleashed tuning power pack is expected to arrive Thursday. Any precautions I should take in installing everything or is everything pretty simple? Will be replacing my AirRaid intake with EPP intake and hot pipes with Turbo XS BOV. Been looking at Downpipes and I've read lots of good things about PPE, however, on vivid racing the model year only goes to 2015..mine is a 2016. Will these fit my 2016?

If you have a 3bar map as part of your power pack just don't start the car until you downloaded and flashed your tune to the car. If you're not tuned for a 3bar and install it and start it it will idle like garbage.

I know of at least one 2016 owner who has the PPE catted downpipes. It'll fit.

What exactly is datalogging?

Using SCT LiveLink to record the parameters of your vehicle during certain driving conditions to ensure optimized fuel economy, performance and reliability. The tuner is able to review the data and make adjustments to the tune to ensure everything is working together as designed.

Can I do this on the SCT X4?

Go to youtube and search "how to datalog SCT X4". Brew city boost has a pretty good tutorial on how to do it. The first tune Torrie sends you is barely faster than stock. Keep sending him logs until he says you are good.

I think the only step missing from their video is how to load the config file onto your SCT device (Torrie should have emailed you this file) onto the device. If I remember right, you go into livelink and select "open configuration file", then click on "export DLX", then save it to your device.

You are correct. I had to send a config file to my buddies BDX for his 2020 Raptor. The tuner he used didnt send him one.

I don't think Torie sent me a config file 3 years ago when I tried him out if I remember correctly. Pretty sure I had it within about 3 minutes of emailing him tho. LOL!

I don't think he sent me a config file, just the first tune. Just emailed him about a config file. I'm new to tuning so trying to figure all this out.

You have a lot of experience guiding you just within this thread.

Been there.

Once he emails you the file, load it to device (name it something obvious like Unleashed) and then plug it in to your car.

Go do datalogging and it should then ask you to select a file. If you see Unleashed or whatever you named it, you did everything correct and are ready to datalog.
