I never even asked Torrie for my 2nd tune. Been great on the first tune.

It gets better and better every tune.

FYI I switched to AJP Turbo from Torrie's final revision on my car and OMGosh its a night and day - just passing along some info. I run both AJP and GH tunes (GH for my daily drive and AJP for the track)

At the risk of sounding cheap, what do all of these tunes cost? I've been pretty happy with what I have, and I haven't been to the track in 15+ years. I value my car being dependable but I wouldn't mind picking up a few horses along the way.

I use a Livewire TS. I assume everyone can tune with that? I think some companies require proprietary tuners (Livernoise).

Usually about 150 a tune. Some tuners charge hefty extras for things like E30 or if you have an upgraded HPFP.

I got both an auto octane tune and an E30 tune from gearhead for $150 total, but I think their pricing has gone up since then. I've tried almost all the tuners out there, them and AJP are the two best hands down.

Is that each time they send a file or what? So say you datalog, send info, and they adjust... Is that $150 each time?

No, just initially. Once tune is dialed in, if you change something that requires a tune update some tuners will charge a small fee to update tune, some even do that free of additional charge.

Torrie has been very helpful answering questions and helping me understand all of this (as well as everyone on this thread). Torrie's response time is unreal. Asked for a config file and got it within 3 minutes.

You probably could have emailed him at midnight or any time on the weekend, and still got a reply in 3 minutes. I swear there's 3 of him.

Outside of LMS most EcoBoost tuners can use the Livewire
