Hey all. Newb to the SHO, decided on the SCT from Torrie after MANY questions that were answered in personal email correspondence. I'm sure a few of you gurus can chime in with advice and suggestions.

Well, one thing for sure, you won't be sorry you picked Torrie! Welcome to the forum, and to the SHO.

Thanks. I'll try to get a pic of the car in my sig, weather is crappy right now. I hope I'm nearly as happy as all the posts I've seen about his tunes. For a busy man, he took lots of time to answer any questions, and that sold me on it.

Torrie is a terrific tuner... both for the engine and for the tranny. I have worked with him since March 2010 on my EB and can't say enough good things about his tunes and his service.

Don't forget to data log as soon as possible. Good luck and have fun!

Yes. He needs to see how your tune reacts to real world conditions and tweak accordingly.

Sounds good! He's pretty quick. I'll bet you are running a tune tomorrow, if not tonight.

You don't have to data log and tweak your Torrie-Unleashed tune. I have been working with Torrie for 4 years. The highest performance(canned) tune he sends you - needs 93 fuel- runs great. Yes you can have him tweak it. While I was his test mule for his W/M system, and have data logged dozens of times for him, you don't have to do it. I am currently running (for last 8K) his best canned (non tweaked) 2 bar tune, and have had absolutely "0" issues with it. This tune in my Flex averaged .2 and 2 mph better results than Livernois stage 4 tune in the 1/8 mi last October ( Cedar Falls IA, mid-70's)

Torrie is ready and willing to tweak your tune(s) if you send him data logs. In fact he prides himself in service. Tweaking tunes takes him a small amount of time and produces very happy customers.

Data logging is really very easy once you get the hang of it. But... if you don't want to do it... no problem, as I'm sure you will be happy with what you get the first time around! Nice thing about Torrie is that whatever you do to your vehicle, he will be happy to tune for it. If you decide you want to go for W/M and 3 bar options, if you buy from him, he will tune them as part of the deal.. If you go outside to buy, he still will tune for a reasonable fee.

And... when you buy a Viper or other exotic vehicle... he's there to make the maximum out of it!!!! Flys around the country tuning Ford Gt's, Vipers, and other groups of performance vehicles.

While he doesn't sell HP tuner hardware, he can also tune with it for a reasonable price, for those non-Ford vehicles. But... since Torrie tells me that HP Tuners has hired a bunch of Ford geeks, perhaps their products will soon be available for EB engines, as well as the Fox V-8.

I'm sure all large cities have one or more. Check on line with Dynojet or Mustang. Know there is one in Phoenix near airport ( saw it personally- but not sure who owns it). It's one that was made in Australia and was used by 4DRHTRD to dyno and tune his Flex, and now CTS-V.

Well, gotta head out for my last night now (4x4 schedule), but I will update my results!!! Anyone know of an all-wheel dyno in New Mexico/Arizona/Colorado/Texas????

Albequrque has some dynojets, you can even work with Torrie to set up a remote dyno tune sesssion, this will get you the most power you can get out of your specific vehicle with his tune.
You don't need to data log to use a canned tune, you'll be fine, however with data logging you can get a more detailed tune for your car and follow up with a dyno session or remote dyno tune to verify power/air fuel ratio and timing.
Luckily Torrie offers this, most tuners won't data log and do tune revisions for your specific car.
