funny, but seriously cheap "racing buckets" are alot more economical than recovering the mauled seats currently in my car.:p

I've got some Corbeau's. With the brackets (purchased separately), it was an extremely easy install. I used spacers on the drivers seat as they were pretty low.

Jason, those look like they would be a pain in the legs to get into and out of - are they, or is it not as hard as it looks with that big side bolster on the seat bottom?

I have pics on shospeed.com. I would put them on here but I'm not sure how.

I used the brackets from the 07 Stang I just modified them a little to fit the SHO bolt pattern. I did them over a year ago but if I remember correctly the passenger seat was the easiest to do. On the 07 Stang only the driver seat was power, I'm assuming because of weight and both these seats weigh as much as one SHO seat. On the front bolts I only had to grind and bendsome metal to make them fit. The 2 back bolts were a little more complicated. The back brackets had to be removed and welded back on to fit. As for power I just swapped the old SHO seat harness so it plugs right into my car. Also you have to use the seat buckle from the SHO because the SHO seat belt won't buckle into the Stang seat.

what about the brackets in the rear had to be modified, did they have to be lengthened, shortened, widened. my seats are so beat it kills me to even look at them. Plus I'm kind of broke so cheap seats are the way to go lol.

They had to be shortened. I removed the Stang seat frame from the seat and placed it in my car to see what needed to be modified to make it fit and work properly. It only took about and hour a seat to do.

Was there any modifications necessary to mount these or did the supplied rails and mounting hardware mount right up?
