Would a TwEECer be effective on a stock engine/atx? What type of performance enhancements could be had from this? Does anyone know of/have any documented dyno runs of the above?

Doupt its gonna do BIG results on th HP.

But , if you put the updated ATX trans data in there , your ATX is gonna shift alot better. Might even extend the life of it.

Maybe a good tuned LPM might be a cheaper solution..

It'll make the car slightly faster with a good tune, but not worth your time or money if you don't plan on really modding your car.

Tweecer may not do a whole helluva lot to a stock motor, but it sure opens the doors to future mods. I know there are days when I wish I could afford the tweecer (especially now that I have a home computer).

Go for it!

A laptop is about the only real option. If you're using your home computer (taking the TwEECer in and out of the car), you might as well have an LPM for the cheaper price. Data logging is the best way to tune the car, otherwise you're making guesses.

well there has been things said about how reprograming ford programing can add good amounts of gains...a guy on a GL comp got 30hp out by reprograming the stock ford programing alone... so i mean if you get deep into it i can see good gains but its best on F/I of course

I doubt you will get much power on paper with the tweecer or LPM on a stock engine. In my experience with adding a LPM and 80mm MAF on a otherwise stock engine made the car feel faster but only gained 6hp and 3ft-lbs of torque. The reason the car felt faster was because the timing advance was more aggressive and was leaned out slightly at WOT. The combination of these two tweaks made the engine much more responsive to the throttle and have a little more power at WOT. You will not see a 30hp gain with a tweecer or LPM alone. The SHO motor outputs 73hp per liter as is and its expensive to gain significant amounts of power. No other normally aspirated motor offered by Ford today outputs 73hp per liter.
