My friend Jonathan's sho (who's I am borrowing) has developed a rather dangerous problem. When I first picked it up, the right directional wouldn't signal in the "locked" position, only in the "lifted" position. Then on the way home tonight, on an open road, when I hit the brights by pushing the stalk forward, the low beams wouldn't come back on until I jiggled the stalk a bit. Is there a good way to remove the turn signal stalk, and is there any set of contacts that can be cleaned to make sure everything is safe? All bulbs are indeed working properly and it has to be something in the turn signal area in the steering column. TIA
