Bump 4 updates! I want to see my original design finished so I might actually try to put it together too.

Alexxxxxxxxxxx. I wish I was here for this thing. You and I talked about boosting an ATX for the longest time, then I got my First Gen and bailed on the Royal Blue Monsta. Damn man. I demand a ride when I get back!

Well then we had the EXACT same idea and plan and routing at the same time. I'm glad you actually got started on your because I am still putting my car back together and building my engine and tranny to handle it. Keep the pics coming and let us know how you clear the driveshaft and such with the exhaust.

The way I was going to get the rear bank going 4ward was to use my SHOshop catless equal length y-pipe and basically reverse some of the tubing. Just cut and paste new piping in there. It was going to attatch to the front manifold with an exhaust cutout Y for ease of install and removal. Are you using a V-band clamp to attatch the downpipe to the turbine housing? That will make it easier to install and remove. You should work with BittersweetSHO or North Texas Performance or the SHObros to get this kit out on the market. It really is the best design for stealth, charge cooling, underhood temp reduction, etc... That is why I wanted to build it.

I got the tilton oil pump from summit racing and the plumming for that is almost complete, I just need to swap oil pans with the one that I drilled for the return line. I still need to complete the oil lines for the pressure line (and find my battery tray, I think the damn thing ran away) the coolant lines are almost complete there is only about 2 ours left on that portion.

the engine to turbo pipes are complete except 2 2" (1 set) flanges need to be made.

*the down pipe (its more sideways than down) is complete but the pipe after that has not been started.
the turbo to intercooler pipe is complete
*intercooler to TB pipe is complete upto the fender where it is awating a 90 MM maf from toolman to arrive
*need to install intake (25 min)
*need to set fuel pressure (30 min)

its almost done I hope to fire it up on sunday. i won't be driving it but it will be nice to hear it at least... and FYI you can't start a engine with no fuel presure... or intake manifold (mostly the fuel pressure was stopping us, long story)

even the shop tunning my car is excited (almost as much as me) about this project, and he should be he is going to be the second person to ever floor a turbo ATX SHO.

thats awsome!! I really like the hot side plumbing so far.

also make sure to mount the tilton with two layers of insulation/dampers, unless you like backrubs.

I do like backrubs as a matter of fact but this thing is going to blur my vision :oogle: its mounted to the plastic bumper support so i'm hoping that will reduce the viberation a bit. I could lower the voltage to 6 volts too so it doesn't have to work so hard.

good idea, at idle I was thinking of running 50/50 with some fancy electronics, or use and oil switch in my oil reservoir. mine is screwed to the floor right under the driver seat....very relaxing.

^^^ uuuh, i kinda electrocuted myself with the welder today, my arm felt like it was asleep... and it took like 4 hours for it to wake back up again

i was trying to tack a pipe, and the current took the long way thru the pipe, into my hand, out my elbow, thu the engine, into the tranny, and out the bolt that holds the rear pipe in place to the tranny .... so i was one handing it for a while, till i couldnt realy do stit anymore ...
