The tuning beta test went well with the D4U1 processor....will be testing X2J tomorrow. This worked flawlessly with the TwEECer.

As noted in another thread, we are more than happy to help out with X2J testing. We have everything from stock to highly modifed blower cars, and lots of instrumentation.

A quick update for those watching this thread. We are now working with Adam of POPSRACING Tuning. We are making great progress in getting Binary Editor (BE) to work for the X2J. In fact, I'm in the middle of finding that elusive VBAT for datalogging using techniques learned from Adam, which we will also be looking to add to our TwEECer/CalCon calibration files for our clients, along with all the other new stuff we are learning ;)

BE is a VERY powerful Tuning and Datalogging interface that works on the TwEECer, and can be used to replace both CalEdit and CalCon. It is made by Clint Garrity, who also makes EEC Analyzer (EA), which is a must-have for analysis of datalogs for tuning. Clint's software support is top-notch, constantly adding requested features and fixing bugs, often within hours.

Based on my work with Adam of POPSRACING Tuning, we are more than happy to reccomend him as a tuner (including dyno tuning).

Here is his webpage, and his contact information:

We are now referring all our remote and in-person tuning to Adam of POPSRACING Tuning.

Awesome! I was never happy with the way CalEdit and CalCon worked, and I've heard great things about BE and EA. This is exactly what we need, easier to jump into tuning software.

Any idea on when the X2J will be ready? I'll be passing this info along to the guy I just sold my Tweecer to.

The x2j strategy is ready for the most part, i think Adam might have a few things to change or add and then it will be 100%.

Adam and I are working on finishing up some datalogging stuff, and I need to go over the calibration part, including naming, so existing TwEECer users can just jump right in.

As before, we plan to release a new public version for BE that matches what's on our website for TwEECer, (plus the VBAT datalogging, now that we've found it YAY!!!), and also make full-featured private releases for our clients. I'll have to update our website to include notes on BE etc.

I'm hoping to get this done this week with Adam's input.

I really hope quite a few of you make use of Adam's tuning services at POPSRACING Tuning - he's a top-notch guy.

Next year Im going to have to start learning this stuff. I plan on building a mild turbo 3.2 for minigun, maybe 400 HP max and I dont have anyone around to tune it for me.

Another update, all datalogging is present. Josh and I will compile a public release of X2J which will also be available on EECTUNING.ORG website. I do quite a bit of remote tuning SHO and Contour folk.

Latest update:

We just finished updating our site to make it easier to get the X2J.cry strategy for Binary Editor from Adam Marrer. We've worked out a special price for SHO NUT TwEECer Customers. All the details are here:

http://www.shonutperformance.com/TwEECer.htm

As above, Adam's work comes highly recommended and endorsed by SHO NUT Performance. We refer all our tuning inquiries to Adam Marrer of POP's Racing.
