Definitely a noticeable difference, doesn't seem to drop off as much on the high end but nothing like going from stock to tuned. You just tell them what mods you have or tell them you're stock and what octane and they send you the tunes.
I bought the diablosport too quick.. I look like a pain in the a** to have a customer service from this company

Hello Everyone.

New member here I recently picked up a 2017 sho, finally traded in my bow tie for the blue oval. I've already installed a Roush CAI and want to know if a tune from unleashed or LMS would be worth it since I plan on leaving the stock 2 bar map, thermostat and DP's in place for the time being to avoid any potential dealership related headaches. I enjoy the car but have a few complaints I am hoping a tune could solve. Getting what I would describe as a lunge or **** when I have the car in sport mode when I'm off the brakes and just beginning to press the accelerator pedal and what seems like horrible shift points.

Thanks in advance for any advice and recommendations.
can I have a update on your situation please? I got the 91 tune from diablosport and roush cai(both not install yet) and I want to know how your cars is running so far.I want to leave the stock 2bar and tstat and spark plug stock (2015 sho)

did you notice a Big difference with the 3 bar? and do you need a special tune to run or every 91 tune can do it plug and play
I used to have a 15 SHO and theres definitely a nice difference with the 3 bar and for something thats so small and only $75.00 it is well worth it and takes seconds to install on the car its amazing that something so small can do so much!

Any risk of shortening the life span of turbos or blowing the motor by upgrading the bar to use more boost ? Just bought a 2015 sho yesterday and looking into upgrade options for once I have some spending cash again

These vehicles last pretty good and we do very safe tuning for these vehicles and are experts when it comes to the sho platform! I also had a 2015 taurus sho with bolt ons and i extremely beat on mine everyday and never had an issue and the car to this day still hasnt had one issue!

i recently installed the LMS hurricane bundle plus spark plugs and a J&L oil separator. LMS gave me four tunes, 91 stage 3, 91 stage 4, 93 stage 4 and 93+x race. I run the 91 stage 3 tune for my daily driver and it will chirp the tires with traction control on. I can hardly wait for test and tune at the track to run the 93+x race to see what this thing will do. Of course i will run a few gallons of race gas in a third of a tank to get the power out. Loving my Livernois add ons! Oh yeah my gas mileage went from 21.5 to 22.7 per gallon with the LMS stuff. I do allot of highway driving.

You'll love the 93+X race tune and that's what I DD with. What you'll love is switching it to manual mode (don't touch the paddles) and it'll shift on it's own, holds the RPMs higher and turns off OD. Touch the paddles and then you are back to full manual mode.

Leaving it in manual mode will shift automatically? On a 2010? I know it downshifts when the revs get to low but I always shifted it because it would keep revving up so high I didn't want to damage anything. Good to know, would be good at the track.

Glad your loving the tune and nice increase on mpg! Tune really helps out with that and definitely makes a difference plus you make more power what more could you want! :)

The 4+X race tune is really well balanced. With full bolt ons I was running 12.4 with that tune at the track.

If you are going to the track with the 4+X Race tune I highly suggest mixing a couple gallons of 100+ octane fuel OR mixing in a bit of E85.. if you can put a couple gallons of E85 in with a full tank of gas that works well. Just make sure your not tracking with a full tank as that will hurt your times from not needed weight.

LMS recommends mixing race gas in with that tune for the record.

Enjoy!

I tried not shifting in manual mode and it revved up to 6500+ and did not shift and started studderring pretty hard so I shifted it and it took off like a bat out of ****!! So not sure it will shift on its own if it is in manual mode. at least in the 2010.

The LMS 93+X 3-bar race tune should act like you are in Drive (shifts on it's own, etc). I suppose I should have said you'll know it's hill descent mode (What LMS called it) when you see a car image where you typically see the odometer and you will not see the gear number indicator on the right. You should be able to drive normally and it will shift normally, but if you romp on it, it will downshift and hold that gear for a little bit.

I can take a video tomorrow and upload it. I personally discovered the feature on accident because the car image in the dash was odd and when I pressed the paddles, the gear number came back.

The hill descent mode works well... I live in the mountains so it’s useful.

Never ran it down the track in that mode though..

our gas in Denver is 10% ethanol as a base, does that help? My car runs well on the stage 3 91 tune. I think I'm going to load the stage 4 91 tune this weekend and see the difference. LMS told me not to use octane booster, just mix in 100+ gas. I can get 110 octane gas in the 5 gallon barrels at the performance shop but it is $85 so kind of expensive but I will try it at the track to see if I can get 12 second run. 5 gallons with a third tank it should be flying.

Can you get 93 where you are? I wouldn't expect my difference between stage 3 and 4 91 tunes, but only if your 91 tune is the 91 stage 4+ tune (holds boost to red line instead of tapering boost off like stock). I had a PDF of what the stages provided, but the link isn't valid anymore.
