The only local shop i'm aware of, with an AWD Dyno, would be Finish Line Performance in Naperville, located near 111th & Route 59.

I used them for previous projects, but TBH, not sure if they even tune for the Ecoboost product line(s).

I would give Livernois a shout as they're close (in a sense) & have embraced the EB platform since it's inception.

Not to mention they hold many industry 1st's for the EB platform.

I drive through your hometown often. We're practically neighbors! :thumb:

Good luck with your project.

Congrats, and welcome to the community!

Tune you can go with Unleashed or LME. Assuming your maintenance is uptodate, should easily be able to get pretty close to 400 awhp. How many miles on your SHO?

Lucky dog at 18 owning such a nice car.

If you need a hand with anything, feel free to shoot me a PM.

I'm closer than you'd believe.

Plus connects in the area, that have already worked on my World Record setting SHO, so can easily hook you up as well.

I'm in IL too and I did the CORSA, airaid CAI and then unleashed 93boost and its gotta be close or over 400. Couldn't be happier with Torrie although you can't go wrong with him or LMS

3bar 93 octane tune, cat back, and downpipes should get you close to 400 awhp.

Good luck on your venture!

Well with just throwing around the 400 number, he will never ger the right answer. Do we mean 400 hp or 400 WHEEL hp?

If you mean 400 hp, our MyCalibrator tuner will get you more than 400.
If you are seeking 400 whp than Rich is correct. Tuner, cai, 3bar, tstat downpipes >400 wheel hp!

Well I didn't know the difference between whp and hp but now i do i would want to achieve 400 whp. I guess all i want it is to go a little faster. But dont wannat drop $6k maybe like 2k. So a corsa exhaust and cai and a tune will be good for me. But whats 3bar?

Welcome to the fun!!
Listen to BPD, he knows things.
FYI the SHO national convention is in your back yard this year. It's a weeks worth of SHO things including Drag night, car show, and a day pounding our cars around Autobahn Country Club road course. Not to mention the hours and hours we'll spend in the parking lot of the Holiday Inn Elk Grove talking smack to each other.
Starts Sunday July 19th with a us grilling sausages and my buddy's band playin everything from Rockabilly and Metallica. .
You have no excuse!

Matt, I'm glad that you learned something new! We are all here to learn from each other, hence why it's called a community. Your goal is totally possible! And to be completely honest with you even if you bought EVERY single bolt on part that we make for the SHO/MKS and even including freight you are at $3500! So well short of your guess.

To hit your goal all you need is our:
Tuner
Intake
160° Thermostat
Pre-Gapped plugs
3 BAR MAP sensor
Race Catted Downpipes

OPTIONAL
Performance Catback

With everything that I have listed, you will be in the 400-420 wheel hp range.

IMO I'd go downpipes before cat back if you're looking for better performance. The Corsa will give you nice sound (better with downpipes), but the downpipes are going to give you more power and earlier launch rpm's. The downpipes will be cheaper also.

3bar MAP is a sensor to read boost pressure, small fee ($60-75) worth getting, has us all saying better drive ability with it (debatable).

Maybe save yourself some money and just get a better drop in filter for the OEM air box...it works just as good as the aftermarket ones it seems.

Good luck on the project, turns the car into a wholenother "beast". Stop light to stop light surpriser....sub 4 sec 0-60

I 110% agree with you there, Rich. But there are guys out there that like the more aggressive sound along with the extra power...so for that reason I offer it.

Roger that, it does add a little sound and is pretty effective if modded I think. Hopeful to get some good track time in this year and maybe test the modded version against OEM. I did run that 12.54 with the Windstorm CAI!
