140 outside Lexington, still had more to give. Torrie's 93 octane tune. 3bar, plugs, t-stat.

140mph+ with LMS 93 4x-race tune and every bolt on you can think of, I95 VA heading towards DC. Racing Nissan 370 I was pegged out at 140mph b/c that is the highest our car reads and I was still pulling away from him real speed TBT. 2011 SHO PP.

Roll race an SHO, why?

Right off the bat you take away it's advantage. Not only that, but it's weight comes into play after about the 80mph mark.

Yes stock is limited to 135mph. No tuner can turn off the limiter but they can raise it to a crazy number that the car will never achieve. Like I believe LMS raise's it to like around 200mph. If wrong please correct me

Yes im not usually a roll racer but being a street guy a you go where the fun is and the challenge was at the time. Ill have to data log some more when it gets warmer out and see what Torrie can do the car has all the bolt ons you can do minus water/meth.

LMS tune and been to the 140+ territory very quickly and still pulling! Roll racing is OK in the SHO, just as long as your in 1st or even 2nd gear! I've still dusted other respectable sports cars from a 1st and 2nd start!! :burnout:

I would think the weight is has bigger effect from a stand still(i.e. inertia) and at speed, aerodynamics become more important. These are
big cars(i.e. move a lot of air out of the way).

AWD cars are quick 0-60 cause you generally don't have traction issues from a dig.

RWD/FWD cars have a hard time getting the power to the ground and moving. Especially something with enough balls to keep up with the SHO...

Hence why you never(almost) see AWD cars with slicks at the track.

Are you sure about that?

Seems to me it takes a heavily modified car (sometimes with slicks) to be ahead of me after the 660 mark.

I'm not saying an SHO is king of the streets when it comes to an 1/8 mile sprint, but I am saying that not many cars got the better of my 11' in that sense.

No, I am not sure at all. I guess the AWD drive overcomes some of the disadvantage of the extra weight sense you can essentially floor it and it will keep traction.
