Fred, a guy over at the SHOtimes Forum has these. I want to say his name is SHOBOB but I will go and check. As of right now I am not sure what kind they are. Also, last I heard there were only true HID's for the 9004 bulbs which are for 1st Gens. At least I think the 1st Gen's have the 9004's.

I was at the SVT/SHO meet and saw both a contour and SHO with HID's. The SHO HID's were donated by a late model lincoln LS in a boneyard. You can bet I'm gonna be dropping by the yard on monday to search through their lincolns, mark 8's, LS's, Nav's, and continental's. It sounds like the perfect Cheap HID, they took a few seconds to warm up but once they were going it was BRIGHT!

Did he say how much work it was to get the stuff in there? I'm just assuming it's not a nice snap together operation unless the newer Mark 8's had the same size lights old ones had "real" glass that would replace gen2 wraparound plastic as I recall.

I'd like to know more about the Lincoln LS HID swap cause that seems to me like the best/cheapest way to get the job done. Also can the stock headlights handle the power? That would be sweet to have HID!

The hids that i have in my car(that shoed_up was talking about eariler) are out of a 2002 ls it took very little work to put them in i had them installed in less than 10 minutes the only problem i had was the fact that there was no way of locking them in witch was fixed very easy with mr. epoxy besides that not a problem. One more thing hids are very very bright in the stock housing and people love to flash you, so you need to invent a way to put another buld in some where to defend your self since the hids are on or off on bright or dims

So what do I need from the LS at a boneyard to do this HID setup? Please list parts & what you paid. Thanks.

I'm afraid most of the boneyard TT's are in germany from when the early one started flipping like flapjacks. Haven't gotten as many messed up since they stopped flying.

I finally found out about the HID picture that I posted earlier. It is the Philips kit and the member name at SHOtimes forum is SHObob.
