i went out side this morning and tried to start the car it sounded like the battery was dying but after holding the key in the start position for a few sec`s it started drove home turned the car off tried to start it again and it would not start. me and my dad checked to see if it was charging and it was charging at 14 volts also i had to use the battery charger starter assist just to get the car to turn over and start took the battery out and put it in another car and it started right up.. also a few times when i was trying to start the car it would not start but the door locks locked and unlocked on their own is this a trouble code????

What does the battery read on open circuit and when cranking? Sounds like the battery is toast. I bet the voltage drops to below 9V when cranking. Does the voltage at the battery with the engine running at 1500 rpm and all the electrical devices on exceed 14.2 V? If so the alternator is good.
