one stubborn bolt holding the snakes would not come off! Its semi-stripped now, and I got no clue what to do, so I put everything back on and called it a day. Also, how in the **** do you get the small hoses off  Some of them have clamps which makes it seem easy, but some others are just shoved on real tight. Since this car is 10 years old, everything is all coated with dirt and grease etc, which makes it tough to remove stuff. Any ideas? thanks :)

My favorite for loosening stuck bolts involves a 6-pt socket, an extension, and a hammer.

Note: Use impact tools and eye protection!

Put the socket with extension onto the bolt/nut head, hold the extention and apply slight pressure on the extension as if you wish to TIGHTEN the bolt/nut, then rap the extension sharply several times with the hammer. This can effectively break the corrosion while turning the bolt or nut ever so slightly in the direction of tightening it. The 6-pt socket is very important. Don't use a 12-pt socket for this.

Besides, when was the last time you rounded a nut or bolt while using a properly sized 6-pt socket?

its really not that bad once you have done it once. Make sure you mark your hoses when you take it off. To take the hoses off under the throttle body just prop the intake up whith something a couple of inchs tall. It makes it alot easier to remove

Make sure you use a torque wrench when you put everything back together... Also use so Permatex antisieze grease on all the bolts to prevent then from galling the aluminum....
