Are you having troubles with your tranny shifting? If not, fluid changes and a Ted B. chip will help dramatically.

Yours being a 93, I dread that you are likely headed down the road for a rebuild soon...however, you can prolong the life of your current tranny with the Ted B. chip, by firming up the shifts and stopping that "between shift" slipping.

Also, I have had others swear by the Lucas Tranny slip stopper stuff. You can get it at Autozone for around 9 bucks, and it does work! However, if the damage is done..it is done. Good luck with it pizza

In order for ted's LPM to work, you have to have the D4U1 computer in your '93...I don't have it (yet) but I hear nothing but good things about it...

Yeah, as far as the Lucas Stabilizer goes, I've used that once before and it really did seem to help. But the second time I used it, it wasn't as effective. I think though my MAF could be replaced and the TB could use some cleaning, because when I drive with the MAF disconnected, the SHO seems faster, and faster take off and acceleration.

I heard the Ford Friction stuff works well also with the tranny.

Thanks for the input, peeps!

Where would be the best place to purchase the chip and the D4UI computer thingy?

Thanks for the input, peeps!
