changing out the tranny seals in hte 92....and i know its been said the best to use between the lips of the seal and the tranny case is loctite 515 or permatex 518.....i got some permatex ultra black on me, would that would as good or????

dont c any since in buying a tube of 515 or 518 if the ultra black will work just as good (if it will)

No. Do not use RTV.

You need anaerobic. If there is already a ring of red anaerobic sealant on the seals, then you don't need additional sealant, just make sure the surfaces on the tranny are clean and dry.

thnx Chirs.....they do have the red sealent on them alrdy got a few of the Timken seals back when rock auto had the blowout on em.....was saving em for the 95 but the 92 decided she was more important.....lol
