Appears to be a 2010, or early 2011 trans as the TC is of a 4 bolt design.

They switched over to a 3 bolt pattern mid '11 production build.

Mine is a 2010 so TC shouldn't be an issue, although the exploded diagram on fordparts.com shows 3 bolts for my VIN, hmm. I was figuring on buying a reman TC anyway, $270 from Ford unless anyone knows of a lower cost or otherwise better option.

Mine breaks I take it Ford. They fix it.

Did yours break? If so, what went wrong and how much was the repair? I thought these trans were pretty stout/tough and hold up with high HP/TQ.

The snap ring on the 3-5-R drum failed. Cost me $4900 dollars.

lol, that transmission has been sitting in my garage for for over a year now, I swear I will get around to rebuilding it eventually. On a related note, has anyone dropped a transmission out of one of these on jack stands? Debating if I should pickup a set of quick jacks, as a proper lift is out of the question for my current garage.
