transmission fluid

hey umm

I am looking to see how much tranny fluid the ax4n holds.

I may have a new one coming to me seeing the nissan dealer i bought my SHO from put 7 quarts back in when he changed it. now the tranny whines when i accelerate.

I am happy he did it! trans was kinda worn anyway. now i'll get a brand new one. any word on how that jasper trans holds up? or should i contact FPS. thanks in advance

Contact FPS, they make the stongest Automatic transmissions for Taurus SHO's. Period.

Did you check the fluid level? If they put only 7 quarts they may have just dropped the pan. That means that there is still some fluid left in the TC. What service did you have them do for you?

When I drop the pan my Tranny take 9-10 quarts to fill it to the fill line.

I use 16 qrts to do a flush. The AXN4s capacity including TC is 13.5 qrts.
