trans shifts hard from 1st to 2nd gear

my 95 sho shifts hard from 1st to 2nd
but only does 1 time a day and its at start up
what is wrong with it and what can i do

It's a common problem with our transmissions. Have you changed the trans. filter yet?

yes about 1200 miles ago

If you are in Ft Wayne and wanted to meet up with some sho guys we are usaully game. Boat, Bubba and Eric all live in Ft Wayne....Im about 20 minutes north in Auburn. We get together fairly often for wrenching ect.

ok so what do i do to stop tha hard shifting from 1 to 2nd?

Trans shifting hard from one to two

My wife's '93 ATX was upshifting very hard from one to two, but intermittently. I replaced the Vehicle Speed sensor at the end of the tailshaft, problem solved.
