Trans Question need answered ASAP!!!!

Could a VSS or the main computer be the reason that my trans is not going to forth gear. Everything in the trans checked out find. Could items really be the problem???

Fourth gear on an ATX is overdrive. Since the car is equipped with push button over drive, it could be the wire that comes from the push button. I have heard of this happening before...from what I understand, the wire just clips on the transmission and sometimes falls off. You would just need to clip it back on.

I would take a looksy first...
