tranny sound??

the last month i have noticed a low rasping sound from my tranny, i can hear it all the time when i drive in low rpm an hit the gas. the sound is louder when the cluch is almost released?? can this be a cluch bearing??

a secound thing, how much is for a gear to the speedo? the one in the tranny?

How's the shifting? How old is the TOB? It could be the TOB or it could be gear rattle. Gear rattle is similar to an engine lugging noise, won't cause any damage to the engine or tranny though.

If you're talking about the green drive gear inside the tranny, you'll be requiring part number E3FZ-17285-A. They are obsolete, but there are sources for them and are still more available that some of the obsoleted parts.

Also, check your fluid level in the tranny.
