So I have recently straight piped my car. I only have cats on. I had a muffler delete before and it sounded pretty good but I wanted something louder but, my car now unfortunately sounds like it’s farting when I give it gas. I want to get rid of the rasp/fart sound while retaining as much sound as possible. I have talked to a few people and have not done much research yet and have made a few choices. Put just the stock resonator back on, buy an aftermarket one idk which one but just not the stock one, or attempting to cut open the stock resonator and remove some of the baffles then weld it back together. Please let me know what yall think and if yall can recommend aftermarket ones.

It is incredibly difficult to make the 3.5 EB sound decent. I would put a resonator back on it, and add the Tony Di's trans mounts. Inside the cabin, they make the car sound so much better even though, it makes absolutely zero sense.

For reference, here's mine with PPE 2.5" catless DPs, true dual exhaust running to a single 2.5” FlowMaster FlowFX on each side. As SM105K says, these don't sound great (meaning they'll never sound like a V8).

i dont have a picture of the stock mounts but the cushion they provide doesn't allow the vibrations of the engine to resonate in the cabin. so once those Tony D mounts lock the transmission into place, the engines sound vibrates the chasid and the cabin is inside the speaker box. it does sound better.
