I drove a 92 mtx, looking to buy it. Thought something was wrong with the steering, until I drove it. The car rides well in a straight line, but if you try to turn the wheel it pulls, jumps, and gets all sorts of crazy. It acts like the diff is locked and not letting two wheels work together. The torque steer in this car makes it almost undriveable. When you turn the wheel, all kinds of noises emit from the drivers side. (klunks, clicks, scrapes). The tranny shifts smooth and clutch feels good, the driverside half shaft is stuck in the tranny and will not come out, which leads me to think something is up with the diff. There are no signs of diff pin failure, as in cracked case.

I would check the CV shaft, sub frame bushings, end link, and strut rods.
