Tranny problem

well when im driving say at about 30-40mph i can nail the gas and it goes but it feels that it doesnt engage 100%,and then it feels like a force that is holding the gear lets it go and it jumps 100%....time to think rebuild?

I take it you have an ATX, mine did the samething, and after a few months.......KAAAAABOOOOOOMMM
