i'm hoping someone can help me out here. The engine runs nice and strong. but my tranny is undecided about what it gears it will allow me to drive in. one day, i'll have drive 2 and drive, but no low gear and no reverse. another day, i'll have low gear and reverse, but nothing else. someone told me that the valve body needs replaced. but i can't find one anywhere. someone else told me that the tranny just needs to be replaced. i don't have a grand laying around to buy one, plus another 1200 to pay someone to do it. someone else told me to just rebuild one the one i got. so i bought a rebuild kit. now i have to cope with the knowledge that i have no clue how to do that. someone else told me it could be my transmission computer. i honestly didn't know there was a seperate computer just for the tranny. if anyone can help me figure out what my problem is, i just might not have to sell my baby. i don't want to, but if i can't get it on the road without shelling out a couple grand. i'm not left with may options. thanks in advance for all your help.
