Torque Pro ODB2

Anybody using Torque Pro ODB2 on Android? I want to be able to monitor Knock Retard, perhaps other types of boost/vacuum beyond the generic options, and wondered if anyone knows of or has a list of custom PIDs to enter into the application without blowing up my car.

You should be able to go into the Settings screen from the startup, go to "Manage extra PIDs/Sensors, touch the three dots in the upper right corner, then select Ford(Incl PowerStroke) to add the master set of Ford PIDs.

Did that, thanks... but knock retard, many others, have to be created from custom. I found some help on the EcoBoost forum...

I didn't read through all 18 pages of the linked thread, but...

However you monitor KR, make sure you sometimes see negative KR (light throttle on the highway). If you never see any positive or negative KR, it may mean you're aftermarket tune is set to "per cylinder" knock retard. You're scanning device (or gauge) my be set for "global" knock retard (which is stock).

There should be a warning about this with aftermarket tunes. You could be driving around happy to see zero KR on your Torque app, when in reality, you're not monitoring what you thought you were.
