I'm hoping someone can help me I'm looking for a new torque converter to replace the one in my 2010 Ford Flex Limited all wheel drive EcoBoost...

I bought a new to me but low mileage used to transmission and it didn't come with the torque converter and I needed torque converter My torque converter has four pads so it needs four bolts I'm wondering if anybody can tell me if I can put a three pad or three bolt torque converter on my car instead ?

I already have a 3 pad/bolt converter but it's out of a 2019 Flex AWD Naturally aspirated so if that one will work it would be very very nice due to my limited income for the time being...
I understand I'd have to buy a new flywheel that has three pads also..
Also I'm able to find the three bolt torque converter way cheaper than the four bolt..

or has anybody ever changed their four bolt torque converter and flywheel to a 3-bolt please let me know thank you..

Yes I have a 2010 SHO and it’s a 4 bolt converter and flywheel stock, it’s now a 3 bolt GH torque converter and 3 bolt Reactor Products billet flex plate.

You’re correct, all you need to do is match the flex plate to the converter

is a billet aluminum flex plate available for these engines? just asking. loved it on the (manual) 92. ford flex plates are lousy on the 2.0 ebs, hope sturdier on the 3.5s.

Thanks for your time..
I don't see a converter available in the website and I'm really More interested in stock parts..
I'm assuming that if an aftermarket T/C and Flywheel will work then the OEM should work also please correct me if I'm wrong...

Also I can't find any information on the one in My picture, I've searched the numbers on it with out any luck..
Will that T/C work or is the wrong one for the EcoBoost ?
Hopefully someone knows something about it..
